The band is getting ready for Hulaween! Musicians, Matt Gorman, Sam Shelton, Joey Liechty, Gabe Broussard, and Nathan Camp are going to rock out on Halloween night. Here’s a little background on the artists performing.
Matt Gorman, the lead singer, is a country music singer/songwriter here in Nashville. He grew up in Philadelphia and moved to Nashville to play baseball at Lipscomb University and to pursue his dream of playing music. Matt’s music is inspired by a mix of 90’s rock and modern country. His single, “Lakehouse” has already made some ground with around 100,000 plays on Spotify. Sam Shelton, aka “Sean Wave” is the dummer for Hulaween. He’s a Nashville based songwriter with a focus in progressive funk and country music. He is an extremely talented drummer, and plays guitar as well. He has a natural ear for music and is a current student at MTSU in Music Business and Audio Production. He has the goal of working in the live entertainment industry by organizing and booking concerts. He’s on Instagram at go_shelts_go
Joey Liechty, the lead guitarist, is a musician/engineer/producer from Ohio. He has called Nashville home by studying audio production at Lipscomb University. He is an extremely talented guitarist, and can play just about any instrument. He has a great understanding of music theory which allows him to shine in different genres of music. Gabe Broussard, is the rhythm guitarist for Hulaween. He is originally from Louisiana, and is studying Audio Engineering Technology at Belmont. He also spends time writing and producing music. Gabe is considered a funk-soul artist and co-wrote “Stand Still” sung by Zoe Brush and himself. Check him out on Instagram at gabebroussard where he posts new covers weekly.
Nathan Camp, aka “Thoroughbread”, is the bassist. He has played base for the majority of his life, and graduated from Belmont in Audio/Video Production. He has a passion for making videos and does freelance video production. He produced the music video for “I Need You Jesus” by Zac Craven and “Better Than Me” sung by Claire Maistro. On the music side, he focuses on Psych Rock and Funk Jams, along with a hint of Hip-Hop Fusion Psychedelic Country. Check him out on Instagram at nathancamp.
